Plug and socket tester 13PIN

Professional wireless tester designed to check and diagnose 13-pin plugs and sockets for trailers and hook-ups. -Provides a quick, easy way to check the correct operation of trailer lights. -Ideally suitable for use by inexperienced users and professionals alike. -Ideally suited for use by both private trailer owners and garages, trailer hire outlets etc. -The tester has a finger recess on one side and a button on the other side, so it can be operated comfortably with one hand. Checking that your lights are working properly before you set off can protect you from being stopped by the police or even a fine! ‼ ️ USE: One side of the tester is designed for checking the plug in the trailer and the other for diagnosing the socket in the car. PLUG (TRAILER) TEST: -Connect the plug to the tester. -Press the yellow button on the side of the tester. -If the light is ON GREEN, the installation is OK. -If the indicator lights up RED, the installation is DEFECTED or the bulb in question is burnt out. SOCKET TEST: -Connect the tester to the socket in the car - the lights illuminate RED. -Turn on the light in question, e.g. stop or indicator light. -If the socket is OK, the indicator light will turn GREEN. -If the socket is DEFECTED (or the installation is faulty), the indicator light will continue to illuminate RED. SPECIFICATIONS: -The tester is designed for 13-pin (13-pin) plugs and sockets. -Tester is powered by a 9V battery (not supplied). -Iso 11446 13-pole wiring diagram. NOTE 1: Due to the low load on LED lamps, the tester is not suitable for checking installations on trailers based on LED lighting. NOTE 2: To avoid damage to the tester or problems with the electrical installation, never connect the unit to both the trailer and the vehicle at the same time.
